Dr. Kasey Schock is a dedicated and compassionate General Dentist originally from Michigan. After having some extensive dental work herself as a child, she had noted at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. She completed her undergraduate neuroscience degree at the University of Kentucky, where she developed a strong academic foundation and a deep passion for healthcare. Then went on to continue her education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. At Midwestern, she gained both clinical and interpersonal skills, becoming well-versed in modern dental practices.
Following graduation, Dr. Schock spent a year practicing dentistry in Georgia, where she refined her techniques in a diverse and fast-paced environment, working with patients of all ages and backgrounds. In search of a better work-life balance and to be closer to family and friends, Dr. Schock moved to Pittsburgh, where she continued to provide high-quality dental care and stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
Above all, Dr. Schock is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients, ensuring that each person feels heard, understood, and cared for in a welcoming environment.
Dr. Schock also places a strong emphasis on continuous learning, always striving to improve and offer the best care possible. As a proud member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association, she actively engages in professional development, attending conferences and workshops to stay ahead of the latest innovations in dentistry. Whether it’s exploring new technologies or refining techniques, Dr. Schock is committed to integrating the most effective and up-to-date methods into practice.
Outside of the office, Dr. Schock leads an active lifestyle that helps maintain balance and overall well-being. Whether attending a cycle class, boxing class, or playing on an ultimate frisbee team, these activities provide both physical benefits and stress relief. Dr. Schock firmly believes that a healthy body supports a healthy mind, which is essential for providing the best care to patients. Dr. Schock also enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends while exploring the world around her. She is also a proud member of the US Army Reserves.
